Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the program, applicants must:
1.fulfill general admission requirements of the graduate school
2.a) be graduates of approved schools of medicine and\or allied professions or
b) have a baccalaureate degree and adequate background in the biological sciences;
3. must pass a validating exam in basic epidemiology
Graduation Requirements
1. He/she shall have been in residence for at least one full academic year immediately prior to the awarding of the degree;
2. He/she shall have completed a minimum of 34 units of formal courses (11 units of core courses, 13 units of major courses, 10 units of electives and 6 units of cognates);
3. A weighted average of 2.00 or better in the major\required courses and an overall weighted average of 2.00 or better provided there is no grade of 5.00 in any of the courses;
4. He must have successfully defended a master's thesis.
