OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT

 

  1. To provide formal graduate and undergraduate instructions in medical parasitology and its subspecialties (protozoology, helminthology,  entomology, malacology and immunology).

  2. To provide opportunities for faculty, staff and students to conduct scientific investigations in basic and applied parasitology.

  3. To provide consultative services to government and private individuals and agencies in the diagnosis and management of parasitic diseases.

 

The Department offers the DrPH (Parasitology) and MSPH (Medical Parasitology) degree programs.
